She brings that same discipline, enthusiasm, and love of movement into her work as a fitness expert, guiding clients toward better health through strength, balance, mindful movement, and breath. Specializing in fitness for dancers and women at every stage of life, Kendra creates training experiences that support both physical resilience and inner calm.

Kendra holds certifications in strength training, Progressing Ballet Technique, yoga, Pilates, and pre-post natal fitness. Her expertise and approach have been featured in Women’s Health Magazine and Prevention Magazine.

Growing up as a dancer, I have always been drawn to movement. My journey with yoga and Pilates started over ten years ago and has expanded into something that resonates so strongly with me, I feel grateful to be able to share my love of these practices with others. I feel everyone can benefit either mentally, physically, emotionally, or a combination of all three from these practices. The challenge comes in simply finding a way to integrate these movement philosophies and practices into your life.

I am a 200 hour Registered Yoga Teacher who received my certification from Yandara Yoga Institute in Todos Santos, Mexico. I am a Balanced Body Certified Comprehensive Pilates Instructor who trained at EHS Pilates in San Francisco and San Mateo College. I am a TRX certified instructor and Barre Above instructor. I am also a Reiki Master and a Certified Health and Wellness Coach. In 2020 I became a certified Master Pilates Instructor through the National Pilates Certification Program and began to host teacher trainings through various host studios. I love being able to share my experiences with future instructors. I am constantly learning new modalities of movement and healing and integrating this knowledge into my work with clients to help them move the best they can. I had taught movement for 13 years in Santa Cruz, California before moving to Denver in 2022. I love working one on one with clients as well as teaching fun and challenging group classes. I have a special interest in working with clients who are post-rehab, pre/post natal, diagnosed with neurological conditions, actively aging, and athletic. I also host various workshops and retreats both nationally and worldwide.
Beside my love of movement, I also have a deep love and respect for the ocean and a passion for animals.

Understanding now, that Movement is Medicine and has healing Energies to Pick you up and keep you Moving Forward. Who knew Movement, is the prevention and or release, you need.  

Although, I wear many hats. I follow my true Passions of Art and Fitness/Health. I’ve professionally carved Pumpkins for 30 years and that too, has kept me in good form- LOL. Mentally and PHysically.

Mostly, I’ve been into weight training, CrossFit, Pilates, circuit training, group fitness classes and I love to Dance, so Music moves me internally and I bring that Energy to you. I’m entering into that “Empty Nester” stage of my Life- My youngest heads to college this year and I feel grateful to commit more time and feel good energies with Communities and all that would like to experience, my newest LOVE- BUTI, and more. I teach a variety of BUTI formats with a wide range of classes. I started practicing Yoga about 25+ years ago, and I never thought it would be for me because it’s so hard for me to ‘chill out’ and meditate and slow down to enjoy what Yoga has to offer.

It’s what I’m bringing to you NOW and has dynamically changed my life. BUTI MOVEMENT (formally Buti Yoga). Along with BUTI MOVEMENT, I lead you through Elemental Rythm Breathwork! The multiple Facets of meditation and movement breathing, within the 4 elements. Healing your body from the inside out. Movement in Motion, creates Emotion and will detox your fascia and soul being (soma) on a cellular level. Check out my Buti and the Breath Q and A Workshop. Performance and Purpose-  

  BUTI MOVEMENT : an Intuitive, Music Driven, Somatic Practice,

that fuses dynamic Yoga Asana with plyometrics, HIIT, cardio-intensive Tribal dance with bursts & Deep core conditioning + body sculpting movement.  The Spiral structure Technique (created by Celebrity Trainer Bizzie Gold) is used to Activate our deep core muscle engagement, paired with Intentional Static Shaking and Vibration to release Trauma stored at the Cellular Level. Blending Fluid and Fire (balancing the Masculine and Feminine).

The word 'BUTI' is an ancient Marathi ( Mar Ah Tee) word meaning "the cure to something hidden or undiscovered," implying that this Movement practice peels back the layers you wear each day and helps you, allow yourself, your own permissions, to get back to your True Essence.
